As a tattoo artist, I explore ornamentation, symbolic repetition, and the movement of form through free hand and abstraction, alongside an interest in the reimagination of my territory’s visual memory. Working from the tattoo shop Casa Siete in Cusco, I approach tattooing as a way of marking time, relation, and transformation.
